Jerome, It is silly to claim the constitution and bill of rights applies to all illegal immigrants in all circumstances. Hell, remember blacks were property and counted as 3/5 of a person by the founders. I dont think the founders would have been kind to foreigners blowing up buildings on their watch. And our history bears this out over and over again, particularly the wrong-headed treatment of japanese-american citizens who we all now agree should not have been treated in that manner. Having said all of that, i still believe that illegals get a fair shake even in detention. mike
