IdentAlink Integrates AcSys Biometrics Face Recognition System
Into BioPassport(TM) Product Family
BURLINGTON, ON and KETTERING, UK, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ - Nexus Group International Inc.'s (NXS:TSE) AcSys Biometrics Corp. and Kettering, UK-based, IdentAlink Ltd., the UK supplier of leading edge biometric solutions, today announced that IdentAlink will use AcSys' Facial Recognition System (FRS) as the facial recognition biometric engine for IdentAlink's BioPassport(TM) product family.

The BioPassport(TM) product family provides superior biometric verification for network, intranet and Internet security. Operating on Windows NT4 and Windows 2000 XP as well as Linux and Unix servers, BioPassport(TM) Enterprise Server has been designed to simplify the management of networks by giving network administrators a system-wide tool. BioPassport(TM) technology is flexible and easy to use: Using AcSys FRS and fingerprint technology, which can be layered with other biometrics as required, it complies with the biometric industry's BioAPI standard. It also has the added advantage of PKI, Digital Signatures, and server side verification. The product has been deliberately designed with simplicity in mind: It requires no changes to existing network infrastructure, is platform independent, fully scalable and can be used for an unlimited number of domains and users. The user simply has to enrol once and their template can be used across all the Biopassport(TM) product modules.
The BioPassport(TM) Enterprise Server allows the administration of other parts of the BioPassport(TM) family: Biopassport(TM) BioLogin for workstations, BioPassport(TM) Secure Communication, Biopassport(TM) Secure Applications, Biopassport(TM) Time & Attendance Management, Biopassport(TM) Physical Access Control, Biopassport(TM) Online Payment,, Biopassport(TM) Content Provider (Web contents) and FaceCommerce(TM).
