Did you watch the Seabag game last night? I couldn't believe my eyes. Holmgren deserves to lose his job. Alexander has been nothing less than a stud while Watters was out with an injury. As with most backs it takes a number of carries to get into a rhythm. Although Denver played a decent game it seemed to me that Holmgren never allowed Alexander to hit that groove. Instead he platoons Watters with Alexander taking away the carries from the very person responsible for the many wins they had achieved over the past 8 weeks. This also hurt Hasselbeck who needs a running game to support him at this point in his career. The future of this franchise is not Ricky Watters it's Alexander. Because of that and they way he played in Watters absence Holmgren should have played him the whole game. You never know when your feature back is going to pop one but you do know he can't do it on the bench. Shaun Alexander may be the 2nd best back in football (right now) only behind Faulk. For Holmgren to platoon him after the numbers he's achieved is nuts and it also screws the continuity that the offense had going over the past several weeks.
