SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 10, 2001--American Fire Retardant
Corp. (OTCBB:AFRC),(www.americanfireretardant.com), a fire protection
company that specializes in fire prevention and fire containment for
the safety of lives in our community announced today that they have
received a letter of commitment to sell 2,000,000 cans of their new
aerosol product, Fyberix(TM) 2000-V, to Universal Alliance Inc., a
Nevada Corporation.
After reviewing the product, content and value proposition of the
new line of aerosol cans being manufactured by American Fire Retardant
Corp., Universal Alliance Inc. announced today their commitment to
purchase 1,000,000 units (2 cans per unit) of this new product and
distribute it through their exclusive lines of distribution. This
product will be distributed in a 20 oz. aerosol can with a
manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $29.95 and will be
purchased from American Fire Retardant for $7.99 per can.
"We will begin moving these products beginning in early 2002 and
anticipate that this will be a long and prosperous relationship
between UA and AFRC," stated James R. Wheeler, CEO of Universal
Alliance. According to Wheeler, this operation will be in full swing
within 120 days.
Fyberix(TM) 2000-V is a product that is applied to fabrics, such
as mattresses, drapes, and upholstery and makes them flame retardant.
This product, formally available only for commercial application,
provides for the safety of homes and lives from fire. In addition to
this product flame-retarding fabric, it is also a disinfectant that
inhibits bacterial, viral and fungal growth, and finally it is a soil
and stain release. Each 20-oz aerosol can is able to cover up to 50
square feet and is non-toxic and earth friendly.

This new product commitment with Universal Alliance Inc. will
bring over $15,000,000 in new revenues for the year 2002 for American
Fire Retardant Corp. We are also in the process of negotiations with
many large retail chains, which will be announced in the near future.

According to the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) a fire
occurs somewhere in the United States every 18 seconds, resulting in
an injury every 23 minutes and a death every 130 minutes.
