Here's a blurb from the IDC market report just put out last month. They give the growth rate in the abstract. (Of course the full report costs.) idc.com The IP virtual private network (VPN) services market for the United States will continue to grow in 2001 and beyond. With more complete data in 2001, IDC's forecast is more detailed and has expanded and changed since 2000. The total IP VPN services market for the United States, including carrier-implemented services and do-it-yourself (DIY) solutions will increase from over $5.4 billion in 2001 to nearly $14.7 billion in 2006 for a CAGR of 22%. The carrier market for IP VPN services will increase at a slightly faster CAGR of 24.4%, from nearly $1.8 billion in 2001 to over $5.3 billion in 2006.
