Within reason, Intel could demand whatever they wanted to for Xbox processors because MSFT couldn't find a reliable source anywhere else. Intel knew it. MSFT knew it. >It's really not all that complicated. It's been right there in front of your face but you couldn't see it. I dunno, I don't think that MSFT would've produced X-Box samples with AMD chips if they didn't intend to use them. Whether or not Intel makes money or not off of X-Box is irrelevant- Intel managed to "cut AMD off at the path", and won the contract. A great move. -Z
