Sorry I missed this post. I would like to know about this company and I am sure others would too.
To all of the most recent posters:
The game has never been CSGI vs ALYD but a game of timing and sharing of information. Without casting dispersions, it is great to know that so many people have ALYD in their portfolios and were patient with it despite the battles and lackluster performance while CSGI did its roller coaster ride. ALYD was brought into an ongoing controversy and was bashed with unfounded comments as a defense for equally unpolite comments relative to CSGI, the company and its supporters. Tempers flared and people refused to separate the company from the on line methods related to the price performance of the company.
Looking back through many posts, a great deal of "selective blindness" ocurred. We beat a dead horse senselss (almost what I am doing now) which seems to have benefitted very few people but adversely affected quite a few.
Now that ALYD is trading in the 100s of 1000s of shares, it is beyond the control of these threads. It beat CSGI to $20 and puts egg on some people's faces. However, let's not forget that CRYSF, mentioned at around 10-12 beat both of them to $20. While we were having a 2-way battle with ALYD vs CSGI, we all let CRYSF slip through the cracks. A combination of all 3 stocks would have been a monumental coup for all of us. Again, the name of the game was timing and how the companies were presented to the public by individuals.
Unfortunately, a good number of these individuals are not able to defend themselves so this looks like a "pot shot" on my part. It is not. There are ways to email a response and have it posted here, if need be. My only comment to them is the timing of their comments and the phrasing of the comments. IF you talk about a price target and then bail out way before that then buy back in on a drop, you have an unethical situation. Either the stock is a keeper to the exit price or it is a trading stock but not a mixture of both. The comments made mixed the two concepts together for the benefit of a few people. Some of the readership here got burned and burned bad. CSGI was a trading stock like CFMT(my roller coaster stock) and should have been discussed in that context only. It was not until late in the game did this really come out. Bottom line, I do not believe it was anyone's intention to swindle another person's money from this thread into their own pocket. I would like to think it was just a number of people that were unaware of the consequences their comments could have on other people.
Sure everyone should do their own DD and those that do not, deserve what they get. However, we know that novice investors flock to those who seem to know what is going on and have a good track record. Why do DD when it is provided for you and you trust this person? Also there are those that do not have the time or the desire to do independent research only to come up with the same information already provided. Why duplicate someone else's legwork if their DD could be trusted? We all know this to be true. (BTW-having information and not sharing it but rather holding it back to embarass someone doesn't sit well with me.) Selective sharing of information is not neighborly here when our puprose is to help each other make informaed decisions.
More critical timing was required and will be required for CSGI. It does seem like CSGI was/is much more volatile and is impacted by comments on this thread. As was just pointed out, two news announcements and no price movement on CSGI. Either behind the scenes market maker manipulation has not occurred or the lack of discussion on this thread is the reason for this lackluster perfromance of late.
Money was made on CSGI if you followed the "Jardy Principle" and followed his advice. I am still trying to figure this person out. He has been villified by both "factions" on these threads but had the guts to post his comments before the movement, it seems. Apparently we share this trait but that is where we part company. I do not know to which faction he belongs, or if he is a member of either community. I think he is a loner.
I have looked at most of his posts and find that he has less than 50 posts total. For such an insignificant poster, he seems to have evoked a great deal of emotion from numerous people. I tried to keep quiet for the most part on this subject. A great deal of respect was lost for certain people when Jardy was personally attacked in the manner he was and comments were made about his situation. For some reason, beyond my comprehension, he has chosen not to gloat about ALYD vs CSGI. His last set of posts indicated a move out of CSGI and into ALYD which proved to be correct. All attempts to contact him by myself and others failed to get him to respond to us. He may have something to offer, if we can temper his temper. In a way, he showed some class by refraining from this opportunity to gloat.
He was dead wrong to attack individual people like he did in the beginning, but he might have been right on as to a process that seemed to control the destiny of a stock. To me, he clearly indicated that these threads can be used to manipulate a stock whether intentionally or unintentionally. That is a bad thing which we must be constantly vigilant. It is one thing to try to beat the MMs at their own game, but another thing for US to detrimentally affect each others portfolio. Hopefully we have not sold our shares to weaker hands in many of our transactions.
For whatever it is worth, the lack of positive CSGI movement this past week leads me to believe there might be a hint of credibility to some of Jardy's comments. A lesson can be learned here for all of us. These threads we travel were meant to be helpful and informative. We have had numerous excursions away from this. We have become suspicious of each other and the level of trust has been eroded with recent events of name/post deletions. We may have enough influence to manipulate a stock ourselves. That is a scary thought.
mIRC allows us to communicate real time as a group to complement these threads. Off line discussions can take place in private rooms. We need to get back together and to encourage cooperation. There is a great deal of money to be made and contributions by all ARE REQUIRED. Information that is reliable and that can be trusted is what is needed.
Relative to Jeff, BB, and Kevin: look at what they have constructively done over the past months. I cannot go into greater detail because they are members of "my thread" or "the other Thread" or "the enemy" which I am expected to defend. I will only say one sentence about them. Jeff stuck to the facts very well in the discussions he took part in and asked the correct questions. Kevin does an excellent job of TA and was attacking the "process" more than attacking the company itself. Big Brother is quite right about how the process burns someone who is getting mixed signals from the "experts". He has a right to his comments because he did suffer from some deceptive advertising. I won't comment further for fear of reprisals for defending them or taking sides.
Whether ALYD was brought to my attention by Jeff or vice versa, ALYD was a corroborative effort that panned out for all concerned. Jeff soon became the lead cheerleader for ALYD and information, both good and bad, was shared. The power of the communities prevailed here and money was made by those that made an informed decsion to invest. Money was also made on CSGI if you "played" the game correctly. It became a more dangerous play but, if you had the stomach for it, you would have prevailed here also.
The jury is still out on all the YR2000 companies. ALYD can drop to 11 as fast as it rose to 22. Likewise, CSGI can rocket to 20 and then drop like a rock. Both could be a moon rocket to 60 and split. Only time will tell. In either case, I hope we try to work together by sharing information and useful insights rather than get bogged down with hype, spam, arguments or personal attacks. We all lose.
Despite what you may have been led to believe in the past, apologizing is not a sign of weakness. Admitting when you are wrong and being remorseful does not diminish your femininity or masculinity, rather it makes you more human. While I do not expect any open apologies to be given by anyone to anyone (even though they might be in order), I would hope we all (including me) count to ten prior to pressing the submit key on any caustic posts we feel compelled to compose. Let cooler heads prevail in the future.
Finally, do not take this post as condoning all the behaviors that have taken place in the past. There may be a serious issue relative to hacked posts and some scamming taking place on these threads. I hope these individuals are ferreted out and are banned from these threads. They are a cancer to both and all thread communities.
Hopefully we can effectively police ourselves and not require the webmistress to get involved in our internal affairs. My finger points to no one so the guilt one or two of you may feel it the guilt one feels when they know they were in the wrong.
BTW-Ted and TED get my vote for the coolest heads during the controversy.
As Cindy C said last night, Heee's Baaaccccck!!! My final question is whether this post is close to a thread record for length<GGG>
