I don't see your point. You can use Clintonian logic to twist ANY lie into a statement that isn't "technically" a lie.

Exactly. The lie IMO is that AMD is capacity constrained. Suppose you have capacity to process 4,000 wpw, but your sales projection is that you can sell 2,500 wpw worth of production. The company runs 2,750 and says they are capacity constrained. Technically, looking at what's coming out as finished goods, they may be, but the constraint is not the capacity, but the internal decision how much output to produce.

It's better from PR point of view to say that you are facing production constrained (even though it is artificial) than to way you can't sell any more chips, because the market demands some 78% of competitors chips and < 22% of your chips.
