From my viewpoint the bad part of Spiro was how he let down all the Greek-Americans. They were all so proud of his accomplishments. All the Greek restaurants in Detroit had signed pictures of him in very prominent places. What a disaster for them.

If Spiro was Irish or English or anything else few would have noticed.
