Petz, Re: What is your predicted growth for IAG Group (Intel's similar division) revenues this quarter? What was it last quarter and what is it's all time high?

I compiled the data from the last few quarters (all data from www.intc.com):

IAG Q1'00 Q2' 00 Q3 '00 Q1 '01 Q2'01 Q3 '01

Revenues 6,652 6,756 7,039 5,113 5,127 5,393
Op. Profit 3,006 2,971 3,347 1,683 1,446 1,328

As you can see the revenue high was in Q3 of last year. Intel would have to grow revenues 30% in order to set a new record. I doubt they'll have more than 10% growth. So it looks like AMD is doing far much better in processors right now. It appears that AMD is always doing well when they have a clear performance lead versus Intel. I wonder how and if the situation will change next quarter with the arrival of Northwood and hopefully new XP speedgrades.
