Hi Chip, I've been meaning to create a few charts to try to illustrate, a couple of time turning point ideas that
are imo something of a hybrid between speed resistance lines and Some of the Angular time work that is
GANNish in nature. I've not finished with them, as this weekend was a write off in getting anything done and
I've been just finishing a work project today.
I hope to get some chart creation time a bit later this week. But to answer a couple of questions.
The lines can definitely be used off of both peaks and lows. One interesting aspect is that you often get time
turning points when you get the intersection of speed resistance lines; 1 line coming up from an important prior
low. The other line, come down from a previous meaningful top. They meet and when they do, it can be a time
turning point.
Then more significantly,.you can look for where these turning points are also FIbonacci TIME distances from
significant, previous tops and bottoms, when they overlap, and act as magnets then their predictive value
increases.
There are some related GANN angle techniques that seem to be similar to this. Squaring of time is a significant
different technique that will also seem to often line up at similar important juncture.
an analogy, Sanskrit, Mandarin Chinese, Hebrew, and English are very different languages, with different
structural techniques, yet in different ways they can all tend to convey the same information.
I really do want to post some charts showing how you can use a 45 degree and 60 degree angular line off of
two related tops or bottoms and show how you get a time turning point when the faster angle, catches up
(intersects) the slower ( small angular line).
So much of this stuff really needs to be illustrated, with nice chart examples to make sense, I now you've been
working with these techniques, and so you can kind of visualize much of this.
