TGPTNDR, I posted the Via Hardware link over at Clearstation...and this was a response I got. FWIW. 'fdunc' said: I haven't heard about problems with hard drives, but I do know that these particular motherboards have serious problems with internal ZIP drives. I discovered this after I installed an Abit KT7-E a couple of weeks ago. Some sort of a "timing" issue that hasn't been solved yet. There is a patch, but it didn't help on my system.
