I agree with that. I just don't know what that has to do with, say, a school system that is facing a parent with a stupid opinion. Say the parent's opinion is that kids should attend classes naked so that they'll grow up more comfortable with themselves and more collaborative. Is the school to say that all opinions are equally valid and accommodate the parent until such time as the opinion is proven(at which time the kid will be pushing up daisies)? We make judgments under risk and uncertainty. We can't wait until an opinion is proven "in any absolute sense" one way or the other. We accommodate reasonable opinions and dismiss stupid ones.
