That's another good rule. There's also the Marvin Gaye Rule, which I always keep written on a piece of paper in my wallet: don't have a minister dad who shoots you, dead.

I didn't have a minister dad who shot me, and I'm still here. Marvin (What's Goin' On?) is not.
