Addi, what I am getting at here is that you guys have been saying this for a year now and I am wondering when we will BEGIN to see, what you have to agree is a MONUMENTAL shift in information technology, this scenario reflected in the respective companies price earnings ratios. As you know, markets anticipate. One would think that if you and the rest of the worshippers on the thread have sniffed this out, then the people who do this for a living should begin to as well. Simple question. If this transition is about six months away as you say, why haven't the markets begun to mark down the price of msft and mark up sunw? Markets are looking out six to twelve months.
Addi, its too bad you don't have a pipeline into Scotties office. If you did, you could have told him that Sun Microsystems is on the verge of VASTLY increasing its growth rate, its return on equity etc. You see, Scott evidently is not aware that this is happening because in May, even BEFORE the recent runup, Scottie sold 8% of his Sunw shares. With Sunw on the PRECIPICE of being THE big dog in INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, why on earth would the man who IS IN A BETTER POSITION THAN EVEN YOU to evaluate sunw's prospects sell 8% of his shares in MAY? Meanwhile Mr. Bill continues to hold about one quarter of Microsoft's shares. Go figure. |
