Ducklings, no, full grown ducks. Once I saw the ducks hunker down in the grass and look up. There was an owl circling over them. A bunch of crows chased the owl off. One morning I was in the pen getting ready to let the ducks out when an owl swooped down and tried to get in the pen. Close enough I hit it with my hand. Great Horned owls have a wingspan of up to 5' and kill game up to 12 pounds. They will kill a full grown cat.
