Today's free Allelomimetic Trading seminar will focus on several new concepts.

In advance of the Fed announcement, the market is defined today by motion illusion: "An illusion that an object is moving when it actually is motionless."

This is frustrating for traders and may lead to stall knocking. Bullish traders are used to the monotonous uptrend of late, and many may be exhibiting signs of Kaspar-House syndrome ("behavioral abnormalities because of having been kept isolated for an extended period of time in an environment of very low complexity"). On the other hand, bears may be anticipating klinokinesis ("movement in changing direction").

Much will depend on the farmer's (Mr. Greenspan's) key stimulus ("a stimulus that, in a given situation, plays a predominant role in elicitation of behavior or behavioral sequences").

In the meantime, allelomimetic traders are left pacing.
