PEMBROKE PINES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--December 11, 2001--CBQ, Inc.
(OTCBB:CBQI) announced today that it has launched a new web site for e-commerce
called SurvivalToday.com.

The web site is intended to be the world's finest source for survival information and
equipment. The site, which is still under development but available to take online orders
through e-mail, can be found at www.survivaltoday.com.

The site will be a repository for both goods required for survival and information about
emergency situations, including a Frequently Asked Questions section.

The tragic events of September 11 have cast into bold relief the need for Americans to
have on hand emergency supplies such as gas masks, fire masks, protective body suits,
and other supplies that will allow Americans to be prepared for any contingency that may
arise in a chemical, biological, or nuclear situation.

Apart from national disaster and war situations such as the United States confronted on
September 11 there are many situations in daily life that call for emergency equipment to
be on hand. For example, persons living in high-rise buildings in New York and other cities
should have on hand fire masks that will allow them to safely exit a burning building.

Most deaths from fire in fact occur from smoke inhalation. From gas masks to mundane
items such as flashlights, www.survivaltoday.com will contain the products Americans
need to be safe rather than sorry.

The site was developed for CBQ by its newly acquired affiliate Sourcelink Solutions,
under the direction of Howard Ullman, and contains products from the People's Republic
of China that have been sourced by CBQ, Inc. in China.

"The development of the web site www.survivaltoday.com marks the next step in the
evolution of CBQ, Inc. into a world class online trading company," said Bart S. FIsher,
Chairman of CBQ, Inc. "CBQ is repositioning itself by adding significant online trading
capabilities to its Information Technology expertise. E-commerce is being used by more
and more people, with 62 percent of Americans now online. The acquisition of Sourcelink
Solutions announced earlier this week, with its expertise in online commerce, will allow
CBQ to develop online properties with significant e-commerce potential. The tragic events
of September 11 have shown how vulnerable we are to terrorist attacks and how
unprepared we have been to date. www.survivaltoday.com will be an educational public
service for citizens and first providers such as police and fire departments as well as a
site for e-commerce. This is an exciting development that augurs well for the future
earnings of CBQ and its shareholders," he said.

This news release includes forward-looking statements related to CBQ, Inc. that involve
risks and uncertainties, including, but not limited to, quarterly fluctuations in results, the
management of growth, market acceptance of certain products and other risks. These
forward-looking statements are made in reliance on the "safe-harbor" provisions of the
Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. For further information about these
factors that could affect CBQ's future results, see the company's filings with the Securities
and Exchange Commission (the "Commission"). Prospective investors are cautioned that
forward-looking statements are not guarantees of future performance. Actual results may
differ materially from management expectations.
