If unique DNA is all you are looking for then you start too late. Both the egg and sperm contain a unique DNA pattern that in the right conditions is sufficient to produce a unique child.

There is nothing special about conception. Birds do it, bees do it, so do radishes and petunias. There's nothing special about a string of nucleotides which are derived from the long history of evolution leading up to humans. The only thing that is really unique are the throughts and hopes and ideas that a person generates after becoming aware that the universe exists.
