Also if the pacifists are totally pacifist one violent person with a baseball bat or knife could disable dozens of them if they didn't scatter and run and if they want to escort him to jail they can't do that. Well, you're the martial arts guy. I'll take your word for it if you tell me a dozen guys couldn't find a way to restrain one guy with a bat and escort him to jail. It sure seems unlikely to me that they couldn't. Also if the pacifists are totally pacifist I'm operating off the dictionary definition of pacifism I posted earlier: "opposition to war or violence as a means of settling disputes." I would expect the pacifists of this established community to be well practiced in non-violent techniques for resolving differences and maintaining order. I would not expect them to wilt when they encountered aggression. Karen
