My parents had fountains and a koi pond in the yard. A couple of benches nearby....one of my favorite places to read.

Several years ago we helped our neighbor at the lake install a waterfall on the hillside ....it was approximately 50' before it dumped into the lake next to a gazebo. He was a contractor so he did most of the heavy lifting of boulders with a backhoe, but we also did a lot of hand placement of stones. Back breaking work......but the worth the effort. Quite lovely.
