always wanted to have a waterfall in my yard. I also want a Koi pond

One thought to consider...unfortunately drowning is a major concern with young children in a yard. Even if JXM Jr. "swims like a fish"...his friends might not be able to swim.

When I lived in Phoenix, I know that drowning was a major tragedy in the area since so many people had pools. This tended to happen at all times during the year. Some of the children were only "missing" for a few minutes to later be found in the bottom of a pool. With some of the children who "survived" drowning, these were "surviors" with major brain injuries.

I think Mrs. McKie might be hard to convince on the idea of a pond! (Although Pepsi, would of course "vote" yes!)
