WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Four insiders sold a total of 459,000 common shares of Itron Inc. (ITRI), according to Form 4's filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Itron director Thomas S. Glanville filed for the sale of 350,000 shares by Reliant Energy Ventures Inc. Glanville is president and a director of Reliant Energy Ventures.
Reliant sold the shares Oct. 24 through Oct. 26 for $25.70 to $26.36 each and held 385,648 shares after the sales, a filing said.
Chairman Stuart Edward White sold 100,000 shares Oct. 24 and Oct. 25 for $26.05 to $26.52, another filing said. White reported directly holding 202,502 shares after the sales and held another 1,143 shares in a 401(k) plan.
Dennis A. Shepherd, a former vice president, sold 8,000 shares Oct. 30 for $27.90 each, a filing said. Shepherd reported directly holding 36,440 shares after the sale and held another 1,931 shares in a 401(k) plan.
Russell E. Vanos, vice president and general manager in the Electric business unit, sold 1,000 shares for $27.65 each, a filing said. He didn't own any shares after the sales.
Shares of Itron recently traded at $28.25, down $1.45.
Itron supplies data acquisition and wireless communications products for electric, gas and water utilities.
