A petition for people who are less than thrilled with AT&T's new service...

Dude,
Every customer service number dumps you into a phone tree and then disconnects you. I have a friend who is trying to get them to fix the service and she said it went like this:
I finally managed to get a customer service chat session last night about 8:00 (after 7 1/2 hours wait). The conversation went something like this:
"Angela": Welcome to AT&T Broadband Internet. My name is Angela. How can I help you? Me: According to the automated message I received, my service was restored last week, however, the DHCP service has only worked 1 time in the last 7 days, and when it did the DNS service was not working. The service is not usable and I would like written assurance that I will not be billed for this. "Angela": We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. Me: That's nice, but AT&T is doing nothing to recognize the problem, tell customers the estimated time to repair or billing status. "Angela": We are doing everything we can to correct any problems. Me: That's nice, but what is the timeframe to correct the problem and what can I expect to receive in credit from AT&T? "Angela": We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. Me: I am asking for 2 specific things: 1) what is the timeframe to correct the problem, and 2) what can I expect to receive in credit from AT&T "Angela": We are doing everything we can to correct any problems. Me: You already said that. Are you a real person? <long pause> "Angela": Please hold. <15 minute pause> "Angela": Welcome to AT&T Broadband Internet. My name is Angela. How can I help you? Me: I'm the same person as before. "Angela": Like i dont no that (exact spelling)
This went on for about 2 hours - I refused to give up just to spite AT&T- I figure if they are going to waste my money, I'm going to waste theirs. :-P Eventually "Angela" said she was going to transfer me to the "appropriate department" and disconnected me. I guess that means AT&T doesn't have above T1 support?
....and the funniest thing about this is that, there's absolutely no incentive for them to make this better. Welcome to broadband.
