I agree Reagan HAD to know. Unlike "the buck stops here", Harry S. Truman (did you know the "S" didn't stand for anything.) Reagan let his underlings take the fall. As to his relationship with Nancy, he adored her. Those two were so in love with each other and would do anything for one another. He called her "mommy". They used to practically drool when they looked at each other, which was often. Sure their kids were messed up, but they seemed to be the most devoted couple ever. I didn't know Nancy felt unsupported during her bout with breast cancer. Probably he just believed she would be okay, because she HAD to be okay because she was his Nancy girl.
