Just received this message from COMCAST:

Dear Comcast Customer:

Comcast's first priority is to provide you with the fastest, most reliable
Internet experience. In an effort to keep you informed of the latest developments,
we are writing to let you know that Comcast and Excite@Home have court
approval to continue providing you with uninterrupted high-speed Internet
service.

This agreement marks the beginning of a very exciting customer transition
to Comcast High-Speed Internet. In the coming weeks, we will send you
specific information on moving your account to our new network. All customers
will be transitioned to Comcast High-Speed Internet by February 28, 2002.

This new network is 100% managed by Comcast, so you can rest assured that
you will never again worry about the strength or stability of your Internet
provider. In addition, Comcast's agreement with Excite@Home will allow
you to continue accessing your @Home e-mail through February 2002, even
after you transition to our new product, giving you plenty of time to notify
friends, family and associates of the change to your address.

Faster than dial-up, faster than DSL*, Comcast High-Speed Internet is easier
to use and will offer new and improved features, such as access from anywhere
to web-based
e-mail, an innovative Web-storage solution for MP3s, files and photos,
as well as improved customer self-help. The new network also will provide
the platform to deliver new products like video chat, video conferencing
and second line IP telephony - faster, more efficiently and with greater
reliability.

We will provide you with e-mail notification and easy instructions on how
to convert your account to Comcast High-Speed Internet before we introduce
service in your area. In addition, Comcast will continue to provide you
with regular updates on our toll-free hotline at 1-888-433-6963 and on
our website at comcastonline.com.

We appreciate your loyalty as a customer and apologize for any inconvenience
you have been caused through the Excite@Home bankruptcy proceedings. We
look forward to introducing you to Comcast High-Speed Internet. Thank
you for choosing Comcast.

Sincerely,

David Juliano
Sr. Vice President, Comcast Online
