Veritas Software (VRTS) 43.63 +2.69 (+6.6%): -- Update -- Announces an agreement with IBM to jointly deliver storage management systems for complex multi-vendor storage environments. Under the agreement, IBM Global Services will add VRTS's products to its data infrastructure services for all major platforms including AIX, Linux, Solaris, HP-UX and Windows; IBM Global Services will provide enterprise consulting, implementation, support and maintenance services. Details of the deal were not disclosed.
