I have the highest respect for the children of Bill and Dave. Unlike the offspring of many billionaires, these kids have done very well for themselves and society. As to CPQ, I keep thinking of them as the company that would ALWAYS get caught with too much PC inventory in slowdowns then they'd start the price wars to unload their excess garbage. CPQ was bad for the WHOLE industry... I haven't really seen anything from the company in years to impress me enough to even call it a "neutral" much less a buy. Still, I think the combination could have some good, but HP is overpaying. My hope is the Foundations will use their shares to get a better price. Perhaps they watched "Dallas" and "Falcon Crest" as young adults and learned how to get in the mud? :) Kirk
