Here's an interesting stock: ASW (ACLN Ltd) They are a Belgium based tranporter of used cars (most are not running according ot our field operatives) to, of all places, Africa. Sales in 1999 by destination in %: Tunisia 40, Guniea 21, Nigeria 14, Angola 12, Egypt 11 and Benin 2. We are talking garden spots here, LOL.
This is an NYSE traded Co.(350,000 shares/day) with a fairly liquid options market...

For some unexplicable reason there are over 18,000 posts on this thread. Remember, this is NOT a high tech company, nor does it claim to be. Seems to me that there are a lot of shills posting about this Co. Last time I saw a 6 F filer (v. 10k, Q), it was XLA and we all know how that ended. Anybody have any views on this gem? |
