Hi Susie -- yeah the MRK halt and warning took the wind out of the market's sails. You can't even go into TGL Lite ? I dunno, that seems pretty strange. Welcome to the land of the "Chat Challenged" exile ! Its no so bad .... really ... there are even some advantages in terms of filtering out all that chat noise. And besides ... I'm here ! <g> Do you know about Patsy's iHub thread ? The people on the thread do a GREAT job keeping up with what's going on in the chat rooms. Just filter out the POS stocks that are .05 and under, lol. investorshub.com I'm not itching to buy anything at the moment -- I'd like to wait for late December and then look for stocks that will rebound nicely during the 1st 2 weeks in January. USIX -- I have a small position, and only cuz the chart made me. Who knows ? It'll either move or it won't. I can wait 3 - 4 weeks. For now, it looks like it will take a minor miracle for it to get above .36ish. finance.yahoo.com OCCF -- I really think that it is a good stock to buy on weakness -- maybe Friday afternoon ? Yes I know they still have something like 16M shares left to liquidate. But I think taking a small position now and then looking for a buying opportunity in late December or the 1st week of January when there are less than 8M shares left to go is a good play. 10M shares = 5,000 people each buying 2000 shares. You never know -- it could happen in a day -- not that too far fetched to imagine. JAKK -- I bought this at 17.40 -- down over 30% in 2 days due to a "valuation" downgrade. Seems overdone. Probably should have bought more, lol. We shall see. GX -- really getting dumped. Tax loss selling ? This might be a good one to load up on Dec 28th and 31st and sell a week or 2 later. Believe it or not, HAL might end up being a good January effect play. lol. Jim (ohhhh .... sorry .... "James" ....) is looking at ITX as a possible January play, too.
