When is a 41-story building not a 41-story building? Joslin hopes to break ground on two of the three buildings in the spring of 2003. One of those two buildings will be an 11-story, L-shaped building, says Keefe, Joslin's development adviser. The second building, the residential tower, will be 30 stories. And, oh yes, Keefe notes in the filing, the 30-story residential structure will be ''on top of the L-shaped building.'' The way I learned to count, Frank, a 30-story building on top of an 11-story building is a 41-story building. Am I missing something? boston.com
