I agree with that. I was just pointing out that even the worst case, 1 good die per wafer, Intel could more or less break even at worst. Anything above that would be essentially free money. That changes if server chips becomes more of a commodity market.

Notice that I qualified my statement about AMD driving the cost of server chips down. I personally think they can, but there is a good chance they cannot. To ignore that possibility, or to discount it as not possible is blind.

But you probably know that.
