But most of those issues are known well in advance. Pricing is something that can be negotiated at any point, the other issues are likely fixed.

And I doubt if Microsoft would have left those materials un-modified if the deal was settled days or weeks ago. Remember, this was a presentation for a new product that they were trying to build excitement for.
