i'm saying Harmony bought forward Rand in an amount that equals the expected monetary value of the gold output of its Free State assets (excluding the Anglo assets) for 2002. it did NOT sell forward any gold, thus it remains exposed to the dollar price of gold. the only thing that is fixed is the exchange rate between the dollar and the Rand.
