I don't think NV has implied we can't move lower, unless he stated it in a post somewhere. Ones optimism or pessimism can be easily overstated here depending on the poster but I'm not saying WHERE we're goin because I and nobody else knows.

TraderXx, True. No one knows where the market is going but everyone who trades or invests has to make a decision. I made mine and stated the reasons and also made a note that it is JMHO.
I was nervous lately since the market has gone up so much but last night I got more confident in my choice. It is my choice and I will gain or lose money based upon it.

It is nice to catch the lows on the Nasdaq.<g>
Got a chance to outperform the Nasdaq over that period of time. Of course I was lucky because I could not see into the future...something that JB suggested I was posting. <g>
Made my best guess based upon what I saw.

It is my opinion that bears see the reasons for the market to go down as unchanging from earlier this year or last year. The more skeptics I see, the better I feel.
..and this was one of the many reasons for me to get more confident about the near term. I don't have a feeling about next year (or even late December)but it makes sense to trade the "expectations" for a recovery if one is a trader (and I am).

I think we have hit bottom on the Nasdaq but I could be wrong of course.
