Is AMAT just trying to move jobs out of the US. It is obviously much cheaper to operate plants overseas and in this cost cutting phase, it is basically easier to move more jobs overseas, into Asia.
No one is going to be complain this because there have been lots of job cuts by many tech companies.
Strong dollar is a big problem for the manufacturing sector, no matter how productive the workforce is..

That is just the way it is.
