I am not a Christian. Restrictions on the exercise of religion are supposed to involve a reasonable state interest, and be narrowly tailored. For example, no one can forbid an Orthodox Jew from wearing a skullcap, or saying a blessing at lunch. Attempts to do so are actionable. Similarly, forbidding people from saying Merry Christmas is going too far.
