Two changes in S&P and not techs... 18:10 ET More S&P Changes : Medtronic (MDT) will replace Ralston-Ralston Purina (RAL) in the S&P 100 Index. Republic Services (RSG) will replace Genzyme in the S&P MidCap 400 Index. 18:08 ET S&P 500 Index Changes : Genzyme (GENZ) will replace Ralston-Ralston Purina (RAL) in the S&P 500 Index; RAL was acquired by Nestle and removed from the S&P 500 and S&P 100 Index after tonight's close of trading.
