Sometimes I seriously wonder how in the world LOW makes a dime. The whole garden center packed with Christmas trees, 10 customers shopping amongst them, and the frigging idiots close the outside register and lock the garden center exit door. Amazing. And me with my tree selected and loaded on a cart headed to check out to my waiting perfectly parked truck just outside the exit. No dice. Check out closed. Sent courtesy branch trimmer on break. Shutting down. Feel free to take your selection inside to checkout. Just amazing. Asked the two lackeys standing around picking their nose 'if it was store policy to inconvenience customers' and to call for a manager to come outside. After laughing? Laughing? Nothing funny here? Lackey #1 said was a manager. Good. Open the register and check me out. Can't open register, not authorized. HEY BUD! Then you ain't the manager are you? How about calling someone who isn't a "pretend" manager wannabe? Now Lackey #2 thinks this is funny. (Memo: The customer isn't seeing the humor). Hmmmm? So they want to see some humor? OK. Fine. Off inside to find a manager. Surprise. All off on break? Except one who didn't quite make it away yet. He had the fun of trimming my tree, opening the outside register and gates, checking me out, loading it on my truck. But he wouldn't reprimand the laughing Lackeys. I sure HOPE they all found some HUMOR when I told him to take the damn thing back off my truck, credit my card, I'm returning the tree cause it got a broken branch when he loaded it. LOW employees. Finding humor in losing sales to Home Depot across the street.
