Now that you mention it - the two commercial browsers are broken, and all the working browsers are either open-source (Gecko, Lynx, Konqueror) or outdated (Netscape 4.x).

The open-source browsers don't need marketing. Nautilus and Konqueror are default choices for Gnome and KDE, and Galeon seems to be the real successor of Netscape 4.x, available on Linux only, and is very popular, simply because it's probably the best browser around.

The consumers and business customers take all this very cool - they are very fast in adopting new browsers, as long as they all look approximately the same. It's no more difficult to change from MSIE to Galeon than from MSIE 4 to MSIE 6.

Dybdahl.
