I think because of that most big 10 backs don't do as well in the pros. In college the guys on the line a men among boys. At the pro level they're good but so is everyone else. We have had some good backs though.

1) Archie Griffin was ok - I think OSU
2) Robert Smith OSU
3) Lorenzo White MSU
4) Eddie George OSU

I'm sure I'm missing several but....
