OT: Thoughts on the Osama Bin Laden tape.

Just say the tape played on CNBC. It is apparent to me that our invasion and mission in Afghanistan will have been a waste of time and money unless:

1. We track down and kill both Osama Bin Laden and Sheikh Omar.

2. We capture and imprison or kill every Taliban fighter we can get our hands on.

3. We do not leave Afghanistan until we accomplish the above.

I hope that we have learned our lesson(s) from Operation Desert Storm regarding the lingering problems resulting from forgetting and not accomplishing what the original aims of the mission are.
