This is absolutely blatant government manipulation. They see this house of cards is ready to collapse and take them down with it. And yes I do mean them. Cause if we end up in a deep recession (depression?) with lots of people out of work, you can be sure "the people" will take them down. Especially when they figure out they've been manipulated big time. First by the US fat pigs CEO's, then by the US fat pigs financial anal-cysts, then by the US fat pigs media, and finally by their own government. JMHO. The government should get the hell out of the (free?) markets and let them run their course.
