I read that too, with Amgen being the potential acquirer. I don't see it happening, because I don't see Immunex as having any need or motivation for being acquired. Indeed quite the opposite. Further, AHP still owns something like 40% of the company. If AHP is looking to sellits piece, I suppose an acquisition by Amgen or whomever becomes more possible, but I still don't see any upside for IMNX in such a deal, and therefore think it unlikely.

Anyone have any different views?
