the last comment is of course true, but i disagree regarding seasonality, based on the fact that the market has acted counterseasonal since late last year. also, the flood of liquidity has to be seen RELATIVE to market capitalization. what is sitting in MM funds NOW is much less relative to the market's total capitalization than it was in say '95. i regard the liquidity issue as a typical bear market "hook" that keeps people in the market, hoping and praying.
