wbmw, Mercedes bought Chrysler for other reasons, not all of them good. They were/are getting sued by their shareholders for doing it. BMW is not going to sell Kia priced cars and neither is Mercedes. ( MB actually sells a tiny car in Europe but even though it's tiny it sells for a lot more than any other tiny car ).
