Thanks to you and Jerome,

I see the points you make. The downside I was looking for was in the context of already having decided on a long position in the common. IN that case it seems the only downside is the capping of gains - but since he capped it at 30% in 6 months I don't see any problem <g> Its high time I spend some time looking into options.
