grace, your point is valid. however, the same argument can be used against math or english lit. ;-)

i say put it in the schools and then make the students responsible. sure, many won't get it. but i think we will improve vs where we are now.

picking one's parents well is a skill that can dramatically increase one's success in all aspects of life, including financial. too bad most folks aren better at it... ;-)
