Here is where your logic is faulty. "If you start with the unwanted pregnancy" You start with irresponsible sex, not with the pregnancy. "I can't say I know the ultimate outcome of an unwelcome pregnancy, but I am sure they don't all end happily" The outcome of the abortion is predictable though. It is a wasted life. A dead baby. If people would accept responsibility (instead of killing a baby to avoid it) I think there is a good chance that mother, baby and all involved will lead more complete lives. But when it is just a "choice" that responsibility is not faced. Someone here quoted 1,400+ abortion as DAY for black people alone. If that is ANYWHERE NEAR correct, there are a lot of people that are not in quite the dire straights as you depict them to be in. "You get angry boyfriends beating the woman until she miscarries" Ditch the boyfriend, get some help, put the baby up for adoption and IMPROVE your life. Sounds like you feel she should kill the baby, keep the "boyfriend" and all will be hunky dory. Teach these people to help themselves instead of running from their responsibilities and EVERYONE would be better off.
