All energy sources seem to come with some baggage attached (like what to do with spent nuclear fuel, etc), but we do have enough of one readily available source to last the next few centuries: coal. So my vote is that we direct that 'hail mary' program to finding ways to burn coal cleanly, and we'll be able to make all the electric power we need. And that, in turn, will allow us to charge up all those (future) EV's running on VLNC batteries, and make hydrogen for all the fuel cells. And get away from the mid-east oil.

PS. If she's a Goddess, how about asking her for a few good stock tips?
